Hailing from the sand & surf of Goa, India, Joshi, the young and sought after artist, is taking Sanctum by storm this Saturday night & playing a special deep house set.
This twenty-three year-old producer turned DJ has carved a distinctive place for himself in the melodic genre, creatively working across different styles of music, ranging from deep house, big room to progressive trance and house. Having made his DJ debut with a bang at Sunburn Goa 2013, Joshi, has been regularly touring India over the last year, and has shared consoles with some of the biggest names in the industry, most notably, Axwell, Sebastian Ingrosso, Hard Rock Sofa and Pete Tong.
As a producer, Joshi, has in a very short span of time, risen to become one of the countries biggest exports. He is the first Indian to be featured on Above & Beyond’s Group Therapy Radio show and to win the Web Vote in the subsequent week, on the very same show. Apart from this, his work has been featured on the legendary iTunes chart topping compilation, In Search Of Sunrise: Las Vegas, conceived by none other than Tiesto, the Dutch master of EDM, and mixed by Richard Durand! In early 2013, Ministry of Sound TV featured his track Magnum on their channel, giving the young Joshi great visibility across the globe.
Very recently, Joshi also made headlines by becoming the first Indian to sign an original track to one of the best EDM record labels in the world, Armada Music, spearheaded by none other than the legend himself, Armin Van Buuren!
